Cultimate Foods, in collaboration with PD Dr. Antonina Lavrentieva and Prof. Dr. Tuba Esatbeyoglu at the Leibniz University Hannover, has been awarded funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the State of Lower Saxony as part of the Lower Saxony Innovation Support Program for Research and Development in Enterprises.

The project, “Bioprocess Development for Cultivated Fat at Industrial Scale,” aims to develop a scalable and robust platform for producing cultivated fat as a key ingredient for the next generation of sustainable foods.

Cultimate Foods is developing and optimizing stable cell lines for R&D and production, along with a bioprocess that ensures consistent quality and process stability through advanced monitoring and filtration technologies. The insights gained will enable the industrial-scale production and commercialization of cultivated fat.
