Cultimate Foods, in collaboration with PD Dr. Antonina Lavrentieva and Prof. Dr. Tuba Esatbeyoglu at Leibniz Universität Hannover, has been awarded funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the State of Lower Saxony under the Lower Saxony Innovation Support Program for Research and Development in Enterprises (IFP).

The project, “Bioprocess Development for Cultivated Fat at Industrial Scale,” aims to establish a scalable and robust production platform for cultivated fat as a key ingredient in next-generation sustainable foods.

Cultimate Foods will develop and optimize stable cell lines for both R&D and production and implement a bioprocess designed to ensure consistent product quality and process stability through advanced monitoring and filtration technologies. The resulting insights will support industrial-scale production and enable the commercialization of Cultimate Foods’ cultivated ingredients.

Cultimate Foods hat in Zusammenarbeit mit PD Dr. Antonina Lavrentieva und Prof. Dr. Tuba Esatbeyoglu von der Leibniz Universität Hannover eine Förderung aus dem Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) sowie vom Land Niedersachsen im Rahmen des Niedersächsischen Innovationsförderprogramms für Forschung und Entwicklung in Unternehmen (IFP) erhalten.

Das Projekt „Bioprocess Development for Cultivated Fat at Industrial Scale“ zielt darauf ab, eine skalierbare und robuste Produktionsplattform für kultiviertes Fett als zentrale Zutat für die nächste Generation nachhaltiger Lebensmittel zu entwickeln.

Cultimate Foods entwickelt und optimiert hierfür stabile Zelllinien für Forschung und Produktion und etabliert einen Bioprozess, der durch fortschrittliche Monitoring- und Filtrationstechnologien eine gleichbleibende Produktqualität und Prozessstabilität sicherstellt. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse bilden die Grundlage für die industrielle Produktion und die Kommerzialisierung der kultivierten Zutaten von Cultimate Foods.
